Fans of Falcon Studios & Raging Stallion Studios responded overwhelmingly to the AIDS/LifeCycle Sale, and on behalf of all those who purchased DVDs from this special one-week sale, Chris Ward, company president, is presenting a check for $2,500 to Team XXX, a team of riders participating in the 10th anniversary of AIDS/LifeCycle.
Falcon Studios and Raging Stallion Studios sponsored a week-long sale May 10-17 with 20% of the gross sales donated to Team XXX in their AIDS/LifeCycle fundraising efforts. Three of Team XXX members are Falcon/Raging Stallion employees – Adam Q. Robinson, Mike Sijacic, and Brandon Jensen, who have joined their teammates with the common goal of raising money and awareness in the fight to end HIV/AIDS.
“This sale was a tremendous success and I’m honored to present 20% of the gross sales to Team XXX for such an important charity,” announced Ward. “We strive to do well always, but it is all the more rewarding when we can also do good by giving to a cause that is so close to our employees’ and customers’ hearts.”
AIDS/LifeCycle is the world’s largest annual HIV/AIDS fundraising event in which teams of riders travel in a 545-mile bike ride between San Francisco and Los Angeles that takes place June 5-11, 2011. The fundraising event has been a major force in raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and the growing need for services as the number of people living with the disease continues to grow.
Each cyclist commits to raising at least $3,000 to support the HIV-related services of both San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. Fans can still make donations directly to Team XXX on their special web page by clicking on any of the individual riders to donate.
Team XXX Captain, Robinson affirms, “We can’t thank the fans and our company enough. This contribution pushed us over our $20,000 team goal, and we still have time to raise more money. Every contribution helps someone in need, and we want to send our heartfelt gratitude to every fan who purchased from this sale and everyone who contributed on our Team XXX donation page.”
