Today, you’re filming a threeway for NakedSword. Are you a fan of threeways in your everyday personal life or do you prefer to keep it more one-on-one?
I do enjoy a threeway, because I love a double penetration.

You were saying earlier on this trip that double penetration is your thing. I believe you described it as your “happy place.” Talk us through that.

When you are, do you have a preferred one or a go-to app?
No, I don’t really have good experiences on dating apps. I used to do the Grindr and Scruff thing, but just the level of… I would say the boldness of a lot of people, turned me off.

When you did use the apps, was it while you were a very recognizable porn star? Did people know it was you?
No, this was all before.

Do you get recognized in public?
I get recognized in places you wouldn’t be surprised I got recognized in. Just recently, I was walking around West Hollywood and one guy as we walked by each other just goes, “Derek?!” I had no idea who this person was, but they were just like, “I’m a big fan! Getting back to dating – when you’re with someone else, are you going to make the first move or do you need someone else to make the first move?
It all depends on mood and chemistry. It really does. If I’m feeling very, I guess dominant, or feeling like… tends to be more like if I’m going to be the top, I go for it. Whereas if it’s me being more of a bottom or the other person is just really giving heavy vibes, I kind of let them take the reigns. It’s all mood and chemistry.

Okay, so when you are out there dating, what is your idea of a perfect first date?
Oh, god… Umm… It will involve sex. My perfect first date will involve sex. I’m not one to be like, “Let’s go get dinner. Let’s do this.” I’m like, “Let’s go on a hike. Let’s go camping.” Really just trying to put them through the wringer to see if they’re capable of keeping up, you know? I want there to be some type of sexual activity on my first date.
